Expertise in basic research, prototype design to pilot manufacturing, product launch, and reducing costs in industrial & materials businesses. Over the years, I have gained extensive knowledge in various aspects of R&D, and have an excellent cross functionally rounded view. I have worked on various materials creating product designs and application for commercial sales. At the front end, I have experience in initial concept development, technology development and various joint development agreements with academic institutions, start-ups, and established companies. Due diligence, acquisition targets and divestures are included as part of the process of my work. I have also worked on new product development where new/innovative ideas and technologies have been identified and are ready for market commercialization, through rapid product development or a stage gate process. I have extensive experience in process development, validation, and scale-up of new plant construction and operation. Over the years, I have maintained the existing lines of business for productivity, derivative products / line extensions, cost take out, 2nd source qualification, and consolidation to drive efficiency in the company.
