As the head of technology at Shiekh, I have been leading the ecommerce, omnichannel, and marketplace technology and strategy for over eight years, overseeing multiple online properties, mobile applications, and 100+ brick and mortar locations. I have a proven track record of developing and maintaining complex web and mobile applications for large online retailers as well as brick and mortar chains, using Shopify Plus and Adobe Commerce / Magento platforms. I have also successfully deployed ERP, order management, and fulfillment automation systems, and migrated multiple high volume sites to new platforms and cloud infrastructure. With a strong background in retail and omnichannel technology, DTC, B2C, and B2B ecommerce, mobile application development, software development and management, agile methodologies, mission-critical infrastructure management, cloud migrations, corporate IT strategy, and IT management, I have built and managed geographically distributed teams across multiple technology platforms, and handled software and product development, general technology direction, business systems, help desk, vendor selection, contract negotiations, and technical due diligence during acquisitions.
