I recently joined Velocity Financial as Chief Technology Officer, where I'm focused on building the technology foundation to support the company's continued growth in business-purpose lending. At CrossCountry Mortgage, I served as the executive owner of technology, product management, engineering, data, infrastructure, and security, leading a multi-hundred-person organization that supports both corporate operations and a nationwide branch network. During my tenure, CCM advanced from the #13 ranked retail mortgage lender to #1 in the U.S., a position we sustained for three consecutive years. Scaling that organization required building for efficiency as aggressively as for growth, rationalizing vendor relationships, consolidating platforms, and maintaining unit economics as headcount and transaction volume expanded simultaneously. Before CCM, I spent eight years at LendingTree, progressing through five leadership roles as the company grew its market capitalization over 30x in six years on its way to all-time highs. I led the launch, integration, and replatforming of numerous lending verticals through a period of significant acquisition activity and market expansion. My track record is in high-stakes, high-complexity environments: regulated industries, multi-entity operating models, and technology organizations that need to perform like a competitive advantage, not a cost center. Core expertise: CEO and board partnership, operating model design, organizational scaling, and M&A technology integration across acquisitions, carve-outs, and platform company build-outs. Deep technical fluency across enterprise architecture, cloud platforms, platform modernization, and cybersecurity and compliance (SOC2, GLBA, SOX) in regulated financial services environments.
