I build teams that ship. Currently, CTO at Expert Institute, where I lead Engineering, Product, and IT. Focused on turning a successful legal services business into a technology platform across expert search, case intelligence, and litigation workflows. Previously, I was a Director of Product Engineering at Quizlet, leading a 30-person organization responsible for ads, search, onboarding, personalization, and retention. During that time, advertising revenue grew from $20M to more than $50M. Before Quizlet, I was CTO of Slader. We quadrupled the engineering team, scaled the platform to 10 million monthly users, and were acquired by Quizlet in 2021. I started my career teaching high school math in NYC and did a Fulbright in Mexico. That experience continues to shape how I lead: understand the people involved, stay close to the work, and build systems + culture that produce results.
