I spent 30 years watching the industry try to eliminate paper. At Vasion, we recognized the bigger opportunity: print isn't the enemy of digital transformation, it's the entry point. As CTO, I lead the technical vision for Vasion's Intelligent Print Automation platform and Vasion AI, an intelligent agent platform that makes enterprise-grade digital transformation accessible to organizations of all sizes. We're building AI agents that understand context, make decisions, and execute the complex workflows that slow organizations down. The journey here took me through Intel, LANDesk (directing 250+ engineers across four continents), InsideSales.com, and Radiate Media. I joined Vasion in 2015 as its first VP of Engineering and grew the team from 3 to 150+, implementing the frameworks and culture that enable continuous innovation at scale. I've navigated teams through every major industry shift: the rise of agile, cloud computing, and zero trust security. Now we're in the intelligent era, where AI agents don't replace workers; they augment human capabilities and democratize what was once available only to tech giants. Growing up on an apple farm in Utah taught me that the hardest problems are solved through discipline and showing up early. When I'm not building the future of intelligent automation, you'll find me on the golf course chasing daylight and my next birdie.
