I love building great software. And over the past 20+ years I've done a lot of it - writing software, testing it, and managing and leading other developers. I've always had a soft spot for process and my time at isolved has given me a lot of opportunity to use that for good. As Director of Product Development at isolved, I lead the organization's transition to Agile and Scrum - from change management to the nuts and bolts of coaching teams. I played the Scrum Master role on 5 new teams and oversaw the creation of 4 more. Maintaining a sustainable workload is important to me personally and as a manager for my team. We build our best software when we are fresh and having fun. Outside of work I like to switch to 17th century tools to build wine and whiskey barrels and wooden buckets. I also own and run a very small commercial vineyard with 400 Riesling vines.
