I love the challenges of high-growth companies, and over 20+ years I've developed two skill sets to help them scale: partnering with business leaders on long-range technical strategy, and building engaged, high-performing engineering organizations that deliver products customers love. The last two years added a third: leading an AI transformation that completely reimagines how we work. At Genius AI, our engineering org is now AI-native: every engineer works with agentic tools daily, and Geni, our autonomous coding agent, operates as a full member of the team -- taking tickets, making plans, writing code, responding to review, and shipping a meaningful share of our production changes under the same review bar as any engineer. We've taken an experimental approach -- focused on learning, and on pushing ourselves to expand what's possible. We've learned along the way that the hard part of AI transformation isn't the models -- it's rebuilding the workflows, measurement, and culture around them. That's the playbook we're writing, and we ship it in our products too: GlossGenius and Reception handle the admin work of running a local business so practitioners can stay focused on the people they serve.
