I lead product engineering and am driving an AI enablement initiative across multiple M3 subsidiaries. Currently pursuing an MS in AI at UT Austin, focused on where AI can genuinely improve clinical decision-making. 25+ years in software, from Tokyo startups to scaling an engineering org from 5 to 100+ at M3 Japan, to leading US product engineering and global AI initiatives today. Bilingual Japanese-English. My biggest motivator is my family. My daughter has Down syndrome and is a leukemia survivor. She drives me to build things that make the world better for her and people like her. We're at a point where you can build almost anything you've ever dreamed of building. I spend my free time exploring that, mostly through agentic AI, context engineering, and building my own tools for agentic workflows. Also into flow science, distance running, and tournament chess, which keeps me humble.
