I'm the Co-Founder and CTO of MarginEdge, a SaaS platform that helps restaurants manage food and labor costs. I've led our product and engineering organizations from the first line of code to a platform serving thousands of restaurants, and along the way we've built a payments business, shipped AI systems that handle the majority of our invoice processing automatically, and launched the restaurant industry's first MCP connector. My scope covers engineering, data science, IT, and security, with a team of more than 120 people split between the US and Bangladesh. For most of MarginEdge's life, I also led product management and product design, building that organization from scratch before handing it to our Chief Product Officer. I've built a FinTech product line with the compliance posture to match (SOC 2 Type II, PCI), run a 400-person global operations organization across four countries, and led an acquisition from deal through integration. I still write code. Before MarginEdge, I spent six years at Starfish Retention Solutions, a student success platform for higher ed, growing from senior engineer to VP of Product Development before our acquisition by Hobsons. I care a lot about hiring well, developing people, and turning ambiguous problems into shipped products.
