About Brandon Fargis
Brandon Fargis is Chief Technology Officer at Civix. Location: Cary, North Carolina, United States.
I lead product and technology organizations through periods where the business needs more from technology than simply keeping the lights on. As CTO of Civix, I lead across product, software engineering, cloud and platform operations, cybersecurity, enterprise technology and applied AI for a portfolio of mission-critical SaaS platforms. My focus is straightforward: improve execution, modernize the technology estate, strengthen security, build products customers will pay for, and make technology investment translate into business value. I've spent much of my career in complex transformation environments—from enterprise technology and financial services to PE-backed software. That has included modernizing legacy platforms, building global engineering organizations, integrating acquired businesses, improving engineering economics and delivery performance, scaling cloud and SaaS platforms, and helping leadership teams navigate technology risk and investment decisions. At Civix, that work has included materially improving engineering velocity, reducing technical debt and cloud spend, strengthening cybersecurity and compliance, establishing a practical applied-AI strategy, and helping prepare the product and technology portfolio for rigorous investor and technical diligence. Earlier in my career, I held leadership roles at Catalis, MUFG, Red Hat, AIG, LexisNexis and several technology businesses spanning startup through global enterprise environments. I tend to be most effective where there is meaningful complexity to solve: modernization, growth, operating-model change, M&A integration, execution recovery, AI adoption, or a business entering its next stage that needs product and technology leadership closely connected to commercial and enterprise priorities.
