Most technology leaders don't fail because of bad ideas; they fail because great ideas never make it into production. I've spent my career solving that problem: turning complexity into measurable business outcomes. I started my journey in the U.S. Navy, where discipline, accountability, and mission-focused execution were non-negotiable. From there, I moved into software development, founded Summit Financial Solutions, helped scale technology organizations, and ultimately advanced into executive technology leadership. Along the way, I kept seeing the same challenge: organizations invest heavily in technology yet struggle with disconnected systems, operational bottlenecks, security concerns, and platforms that can't keep pace with business growth. Missed opportunities, rising costs, frustrated teams, and technology that becomes a constraint instead of competitive advantage. Today, as CTO at HC3, I lead technology strategy, digital transformation, software engineering, cybersecurity, infrastructure, enterprise architecture, and innovation initiatives that support business growth and operational excellence. My teams build and scale enterprise platforms, modernize legacy systems, strengthen governance, and deliver solutions that improve efficiency, reliability, and customer experience. Recent initiatives include leading the migration to NetSuite, moving service management and support operations to Jira Cloud, and transitioning the organization from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 to improve collaboration, security, and operational effectiveness. Partnered in shaping HC3's AI strategy and enterprise AI architecture, ensuring alignment with security, compliance, governance, and auditability requirements. This includes evaluating AI platforms, establishing responsible AI practices, and leveraging local LLMs where financial data sensitivity, regulatory requirements, performance demands, or cost considerations make private AI the preferred solution. With 20+ years of experience, I combine executive leadership with hands-on expertise in .NET, AWS, enterprise integrations, automation, DevOps, AI, and platform modernization.
