I work on making power measurable, traceable, and actionable inside mission-critical infrastructure—especially where traditional monitoring breaks down due to density, scale, or deployment constraints. I am the founder of Packet Power, a company built on the idea that energy should be observable throughout the power distribution system much like packets of data in a network. We design high-density, embeddable power and environmental monitoring systems that integrate directly into panels, busway, cabinets, and other distribution components. Our technology enables visibility that was previously impractical or impossible, supporting both new builds and retrofit deployments across global data center and industrial environments. Over nearly two decades, our work has required—and helped pioneer—core technologies spanning wireless sensing, large-scale data collection, and analytics, allowing Packet Power to support a rapidly growing worldwide customer and partner base. Beyond Packet Power, I am an entrepreneur, inventor, and venture investor. My background spans IoT, energy systems, big data, semiconductors, medical devices, neural networks and bioinformatics. I believe the most consequential innovations emerge at the intersection of disciplines, and interdisciplinary collaboration is central to everything I do—whether developing new monitoring architectures, building a top-quartile venture capital fund, creating early web recommendation technologies adopted by Amazon.com, or supporting other companies as a board member, investor, or strategic advisor.
