With more than two decades of experience in the IT industry, I have spent the last seventeen years focused on data management and analytical infrastructures, in particular on (1) developing low latency/ high performance solutions, (2) managing structured and unstructured data, and (3) complementing traditional data warehouse architectures with BigData infrastructure and techniques. As a solutions architect, I have played a critical role in defining the vision, articulating the design and implementing critical analytical and data management solutions for clients across a range of industries. My experience spans real time data integration, data warehouse and systems design methodologies, Big Data architectures, data quality management, and metadata management. In addition to custom solutions development, I have lead the design and development of various commercial software offerings. Key development achievements include: • Patents in the areas of Metadata Management, Business Rules Management and Configuration Caching. • Design and development of Standard Architecture (reusable and parameterized) objects that complement various COTS ETL technologies such as Ab Initio, DataStage and Informatica. • Development of a “no wait continuous architecture” for real time data acquisitions into other systems or loading a data warehouse and other analytical systems. • Design and development of PACER – a complementary BigData offering for IBM BigInsights
