Building Copernic Catalysts. We are a clean-tech startup on a mission to transform industrial chemicals and fuels via novel catalysts. We are in the business of wedding the visionary with the practical, designing novel high-efficiency technologies that are compatible with the existing economics and structure of the chemical industry. Our catalysts make existing processes lower-cost as well as more sustainable. Our coupled computational screening and high-throughput experimental approach to catalyst design enables us to innovate at unprecedented rates. We are currently commercializing a novel thermochemical ammonia synthesis catalyst that is highly productive and helps increase plant throughput at fixed Capex, while reducing energy conversion. We also target catalysts for other fuels and chemicals. Copernic is backed by stellar deep tech investors like Future Ventures and The Engine.
