I have endless passion for cross domain engineering of "bits and atoms". I love hardware AND software. My strengths include AI/ML application development and architecting, LLM practitioner, analog/mixed IC design and chip architecture, building and leading teams, neural networks at deep embedded hardware level, signal processing architecture, automotive, consumer and industrial sensor IC design ( audio, magnetic current, linear and angular position, imaging), brushless motor control, model based design and sharing new concepts and technologies. If you are engaged in any of these areas, then I would love to connect! I am a Technology Fellow at Allegro Microsystems. Prior to this amazing current role, I joined AIStorm in December of 2020 and embarked on a 2 1/2 year journey of my career where I focused my love for analog mixed signal design combined with artificial intelligence to develop ultra low power imager, audio sensor solutions at the edge. Prior to AIStorm, during my 18 year career at Allegro Microsystems, I was honored and humbled to work with a global team of world class design engineers developing high performance precision sensors and motor control IC's that are used in countless automotive, consumer and industrial applications including Electric Cars, ADAS, Solar, Robotics and Industrial motor control (contactless position sensing and high current sensing). A sampling of my professional and personal accomplishments include: [Professional] - 20+ Patents - staffed an AI sensor design team and showcased first silicon demo of a charge domain spectral engine at CES 2023 - Architected or lead design of 10+ high revenue mixed signal integrated magnetic and current sensors - Designed capacitorless ASIC regulator systems with low power and automotive requirements. - Designed a continuous time sigma delta converter in several production IC's - Analog circuit design: MANY custom analog blocks (Bandgaps, high voltage regulators, etc.) - Leading multiple design teams, developing team infrastructure, checklists and collaboration systems [Personal - Created "Jamie Clone" using React, Firebase, Modal (backend), Eleven Lab and OpenAI - Trained a deep CNN to recognize youth hockey players in mp4 frames using Python - Developed iPhone motion and video analysis app in Swift "Launch.Me" - Submitted an Android wearble motion tracking video game for google code challenge 2015 While most people are sleeping or watching TV, I am coding , reading and creating. I want to surround myself with others that share my passion for engineering and bold thinking.
