With more than 20 years of technology experience within the financial services industry, Allegra Driscoll drives enterprise technology priorities that support growth, innovation and operational excellence. Her leadership expertise includes advancing technology innovation, risk management, governance and strategy that align with business objectives and enable optimal business performance.    Allegra joined Bread Financial as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer in January 2024. As CTO, she is responsible for the oversight and execution of the enterprise-wide technology strategy, leading global teams to modernize systems, integrate AI and enhance platform resiliency. In her role, she has introduced a cross-functional operating model, accelerating product delivery, enhancing system reliability and aligning teams around customer outcomes.      Prior to joining Bread Financial, Allegra served as Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer of the Global Commercial Services Unit at American Express, where she held multiple CIO roles and led strategy and transformation initiatives across the company. She also held similar leadership roles at Credit Suisse and Goldman Sachs.         Allegra is a passionate advocate for women, mothers and engineers, and takes a special interest in mentoring the next generation of leaders in technology. She serves on the advisory board of the CTO Forum and on the board of Boscobel House and Gardens. Allegra holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Barnard College, Columbia University, where she also studied artificial intelligence and psychology.        Her leadership spans system architecture, cybersecurity, and software engineering, advancing technology innovation, risk management and governance to align with business objectives.
