Computer scientist by training, technology leader by trade, I do my best work when collaborating with smart, driven and gritty people on substantial, impactful technology initiatives. I am passionate about software product development that brings together smart algorithms, massive datasets, real-time distributed systems and intuitively simple user interfaces to deliver delightful, functional and popular products. With ~20 years of professional experience in the software industry, I have incubated, grown and led large multi-functional, multi-site R&D teams focused on Information Retrieval (Search), Personalization, Recommender Systems, A/B Testing, Algorithmic Optimization and consumer internet products at various large public consumer internet and enterprise SaaS companies including LinkedIn, Salesforce, ServiceTitan and Groupon. I have contributed to number of original industry research publications presented at top-tier international conferences including ACM KDD, ACM RecSys, WWW, CIKM etc. I have been a frequent invited speaker at these venues. I have co-filed and been granted various industry patents in the aforementioned areas based on joint work with wonderful collaborators. I am passionate about mentoring and helping individuals find their own unique path through their careers. I also love helping young students overcome language reading and comprehension challenges as it opens up a lifelong of opportunities for them.
